RECORDING

VOCALS & ENSEMBLES

We utilize class-A audio equipment to establish a low-noise and accurate measurement of your vocal or/and instrument recording session. Our studio is well-treated acoustically and operated by our award-winning and nominated producer and engineer, Philip Laessoe. He has three Music Production / Audio engineering diplomas and certificates and over 16 years of engineering experience from working and running different studios, including performing and working with a multitude of studio and live music artists.

At Studio P we record mainly:

  • Vocals, Backing Vocals & Smaller Ensembles

  • Acoustic, Classical & Electric Guitar

  • Keyboards & Synths including MIDI sequencing

  • Bass, Hand Percussion & Electronic Drums

MUSICAL DIRECTION

We guide you through every step of the recording session and offer you musical direction or/and advice to help boost your musical performance and sound. The personal, dedicated and detailed-oriented aspect of our recording sessions is based on years of teaching and executing music industry professionalism. After all, the person behind the knobs who are operating/engineering and/or producing is always the most important factor in terms of making sure your instrument or voice is captured and stands out naturally and authentically.

EFFICIENCY & VALUE

This location is a fairly spacious project studio that is well customized for vocal, solo/duo instrumental and smaller ensemble recordings and songwriting sessions. The studio is equipped with class-A gear, and offers the same professional expertise equivalent to that of our bigger studio M, however with fewer tracking channels and less space/rooms/booths. As a result, we are able to offer reasonable hourly rates as well as promotional project rates.
